Meet the Team
Michael Boyko, President
Certified Residential Appraiser
Michael founded Amtech Appraisal Services in 2002 on the basic philosophy of
providing excellent customer service to help simplify the client’s management of the
appraisal process. His lifelong entrepreneurial experience and no-nonsense
approach to customer relations has resulted in Amtech’s growing reputation of
exceeding the expectations of its customers. Michael has over 15,000 hours of
experience in appraising residential properties, including investment properties. He
is a member of the Appraisal Institute and the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors.
In his free time, Michael enjoys going to the beach, reading, exploring new
restaurants and hanging out with his family.
Lee Boyko
Licensed Residential Appraiser
Lee brings a background of real estate sales and mortgage origination to Amtech
which helps him understand the needs of mortgage lenders and realtors. It also
allows him to recognize market trends and their applicability to the appraisal
process. He strives to offer every client prompt, courteous service and accurate
reporting. Lee is a member of the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors and the
Appraisal Institute. In his leisure time, Lee enjoys spending time with his wife, Linda,
and their grandchildren. He also enjoys reading, playing golf and cooking.
Matthew Boyko
Licensed Residential Appraiser
Matt is an accomplished professional in multiple aspects of residential real estate.
He has over ten years experience in real estate investment and loan origination,
which gives him insight into the requirements of both the borrower and lender. Matt
prides himself on producing highly detailed reports based off of a thorough field
inspection and research. In his spare time, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife,
Amanda and their four children, playing cards, and playing golf.
Karen Musselman
Licensed Residential Appraiser
Karen’s extensive past experience in customer service for several major airlines is
the basis for her genuine ability to provide Amtech clients with outstanding
assistance in managing the appraisal process. Her attention to detail, flexibility in
scheduling and prompt report turn-around allow Karen to fulfill the needs of our
clients with reliable accuracy and rapid response. Karen enjoys traveling and dining
out in her leisure time.
Sylvia Stafford
Licensed Residential Appraiser
Sylvia is a knowledgeable professional whose previous experience in project,
financial and general management supports her ability to provide exceptional
customer service to Amtech clients through open communication and commitment to
deadlines. She recognizes the competitiveness in today’s mortgage lending industry
and focuses on understanding the needs of her client. Sylvia holds an Executive
MBA from Loyola College in Baltimore. In her free time she enjoys cooking, DIY
projects, hiking, skiing and spending time with her husband, Jim and their four
legged daughter, Shyla
